About the Holiday Line

The holiday Line was introduced in 1985. The line was produced in limited quantities by McCoy LTD. While limited in production, there are a wide variety of Holiday Line pieces ranging from Christmas, Easter, and Halloween. The Halloween line, dubbed "Punkin' Patch", is one of the more popular and recognizable.

It would be important to note that note that while McCoy LTD. had their mark clearly listed on the bottom of each piece in the line, there are a large number of reproductions and fakes floating around.

While finding pieces in the Holiday Line is not as easy as finding more common and widely produced McCoy Pottery, popularity with die hard McCoy collectors is not very high. Even though the pieces are rare, they are sometimes not sought after. However they do continue to grow in popularity, and are worth having in any collection.

Billie and Nelson McCoy have produced a copy of the original catalog brochure of the popular "Punkin Patch", which can be seen at "The McCoy Pottery Collectors Connection." This only shows some of the items in the Halloween Line.

Other item ranged from Christmas Trees, Snowmen, Santa Claus, Bells, Candle Holders, Churches, Easter Eggs, Bunnies, Birthday cakes and more!

Finally it would be important to note that while McCoy LTD. produced the Holiday Line, McCoy Pottery did make "Snowman" planters in circa 1949 bearing the "McCoy Made in USA" mark.

NOTE: We have amassed a collection of images of many of the known Holiday pieces below, however we are always looking for more. If you know of one that is not listed, please let us know by contacting us at webmaster@mccoypottery.com
